With the final preseason game on the horizon, the Buffalo Bills made a flurry of roster moves.
That means adding some players and parting with others.
“The Bills sign RB Jarveon Howard and WR Grant DuBose, placed RB Darrynton Evans on IR and waived CB Te’Cory Couch and WR Kaden Prather,” Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston wrote on X.

Howard will most likely provide some depth ahead of the final preseason game, but he’s a long shot to draw consideration for the 53-man roster.
He’s a physical running back who went undrafted last season after playing at Syracuse.
He signed with the Green Bay Packers, but didn’t play a snap for them, and then signed with St. Louis of the UFL.
DuBose was the No. 256 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Packers.
Last season with the Miami Dolphins, he had two catches for 11 yards in three appearances.
The Bills are without Khalil Shakir, who is sidelined with a high ankle sprain, so that leaves the door open for DuBose to take the field in the preseason finale and maybe make his way to the practice squad.
The team is mostly set for the regular season, but you never know when injuries will happen, and it’s good to have some additional players to keep the starters out of harm’s way.
