It’s making the rounds on X that the Fed is holding an emergency meeting to potentially discuss a rate cut. Unfortunately, it’s just a regular meeting.
I’m surprised that many professional news sites even mention it. These are regular meetings that the Board of Governors holds regularly, typically every other Monday.
