Athletics Designate Grant Holman, Mitch Spence For Assignment

Right-handers Grant Holman and Mitch Spence have been designated for assignment, the Athletics announced. The moves will clear space on the 40-man roster for righties Scott Barlow and Aaron Civale. The Barlow and Civale signings are now official.
