STAT’s The Readout newsletter highlighted ARPA-H funding for biotechnology companies developing custom RNA therapies. The roundup also said President Trump presented new agreements with biopharmaceutical companies as part of his effort to reduce drug costs.

STAT’s John Wilkerson reported that the agreements might have limited effect and could conflict with the administration’s own objectives. The newsletter also reported that a company had submitted applications to the FDA and the UK’s MHRA seeking marketing approval for AMT-130, a treatment for Huntington’s disease.
