Arsenal have made a late change to their Champions League squad ahead of Wednesday’s match at Club Brugge.
The adjustment comes after Max Dowman suffered an ankle injury on Saturday while playing for the Under-21s.
The 15-year-old has been removed from the Gunners’ European list with immediate effect, a bitter blow for the club after what had been a promising campaign so far for the youngster.
Gabriel Jesus has been called up to take Dowman’s place, returning to the squad following a lengthy absence from Mikel Arteta’s first team due to an injury of his own.
