• S&P rose 4.31 points or 0.06% at 6850.92
• Nasdaq fell -61.84 point or -0.26% at 23406.46.

Looking at the Magnificent 7, the declines were led by Meta which tumbled -2.90%, Late buying took the price of Nvidia into positive territory. Microsoft also closed higher by 0.48%.

Meta shares are now down -22.91% from its high closing level.The closing level from 2025 was at $585. The price is getting close to that level at $609.01 after reaching a high closing level at $790.

AMD shares rose $21.37 or 9.0% at $258.89.
