The 2025 NFL Draft is complete, which provides a chance to look back and figure out what the teams did and share revised thoughts after some hot-headed reactions.
With that in mind, veteran running back Chase Edmonds recently revealed his assessment of the event by naming its biggest winner.
“I’m going to go rogue with Mike Vrabel and the New England Patriots. … I absolutely love what these guys did in their draft class,” Edmonds said, via NFL Network.

While there are some legitimate concerns about Will Campbell’s measurements, Edmonds believes the offensive lineman is going to be a major addition to help Drake Maye.
Edmonds said that a quarterback’s connection with his left tackle is almost as important as it is with his wide receivers, and he thinks they got an absolute star.
He also gushed about the additions of running back TreVeyon Henderson and wide receiver Kyle Williams.
The Patriots will most likely continue their tradition of being a defensive-oriented team now that Vrabel is their head coach.
They had some major deficiencies on offense, and with a promising quarterback like Maye, they needed to go the extra mile to surround him with more talent.
So, the Patriots went heavy on offense in the draft, and Maye now has a rookie to share the workload with Rhamondre Stevenson and another deep-play threat to line up opposite offseason addition Stefon Diggs.
Of course, it might be a while before this team gets back to the top of the AFC, but this was a big step in the right direction.
