The Indianapolis Colts are tied for the best record in the NFL.
Head coach Shane Steichen has quarterback Daniel Jones playing arguably the best football of his NFL career, and he looks like a legitimate MVP candidate.
However, former NFL linebacker Will Compton isn’t impressed.
“They’re overrated at 5-1,” Compton said of the AFC leaders.

The Colts also have one of the best running backs in the game in Jonathan Taylor, a budding star in rookie tight end Tyler Warren, and a collection of talented wide receivers.
Their defense has also been solid under new coordinator Lou Anarumo, building momentum against a relatively easy schedule.
Granted, they might not be the team to beat in the AFC, and they need to prove themselves in the playoffs, especially given Jones’ history of shortcomings with the New York Giants.
Nevertheless, there’s no reason to believe there’s anything flukey about the Colts’ start to the season.
They have been a quarterback away from real contention for years, but that revolving door may have finally stopped with Jones.
Also, this goes to show how much being in the right system can do for a QB.
Likewise, it also speaks volumes about how bad Anthony Richardson had been for this team in the past couple of years.
There is plenty of football left to be played, but the Colts certainly seem to be headed in the right direction.
