Details Emerge About Jauan Jennings’ New Contract

The San Francisco 49ers have an intriguing outlook ahead of the 2025 NFL season.

They were the Super Bowl favorites heading into the 2024 campaign, but it quickly became clear that injuries were going to keep them from reaching that ceiling.

Not only did the 49ers not make it to the Super Bowl, but they missed the playoffs entirely, making for a frustrating end to the season.

Things are looking up for them in 2025, as most of their marquee players are healthy and ready to go, but in the eyes of the media and sportsbooks, the 49ers don’t command the same clout and respect that they once did.

They’ll have a tough go in the NFC West, a division that includes the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals, two teams that are hungry and ready to take the next step.

While the 49ers will have their work cut out for them this season, having a roster of mostly returning players should help them stay on track.

One of their most impressive pass-catchers from the 2024 campaign was Jauan Jennings, who recently signed a contract extension after some offseason disputes.

Jennings is not only tied to the team for more time, but as Adam Schefter noted on X, he also received incentives in his contract that add up to $3 million.

This is a win-win for both parties.

Jennings has a guaranteed contract for just showing up to work and playing his part, but if he performs well, which should help the team perform well, he’ll be financially rewarded.
