Fosun Brings $19B in Hong Kong-Listed Assets On-Chain

Fosun Wealth Holdings today announced plans to issue both shares and corporate bonds of its listed companies on blockchain infrastructure through Vaulta. The initiative, supported by Solana’s technology stack, represents the first time Hong Kong-listed assets are migrating on-chain, with a combined market value of approximately $19 billion.

The first batch of tokenized instruments includes Fosun International (00656.HK) shares and corporate bonds, Fosun Pharmaceuticals (02196.HK), Fuhong Hanlin (02696.HK), and Sisram Medical (1696.HK).

By enabling tokenized issuance and settlement, Fosun is directly bridging traditional capital markets with blockchain systems, creating new pathways for accessibility and efficiency.

Fosun stated that the move highlights its commitment to digital transformation and reflects broader momentum for real-world asset tokenization. Industry leaders have long identified tokenization of equities and bonds as a pivotal driver of financial innovation, enabling 24/7 trading, faster settlement, and new liquidity avenues for global investors.

Vaulta, which operates as a Web3 banking network, will provide the underlying infrastructure through its Banking OS platform, designed for secure issuance and scalable management of real-world assets.

Vaulta CEO, Yves La Rose, emphasized that Fosun’s adoption signals the direction capital markets are inevitably heading: toward blockchain-powered settlement systems capable of operating beyond traditional time zones and intermediaries.

The partnership also strengthens Solana’s role in institutional-grade finance, with the blockchain’s high throughput and low fees offering a compelling case for tokenizing large-scale assets.

Tokenization is gaining traction across global markets. Financial incumbents are exploring blockchain infrastructure to increase transparency, reduce inefficiencies, and attract new investor classes.

Fosun’s decision to onboard its equity and debt instruments highlights how Asia’s corporate giants are positioning themselves at the forefront of blockchain-enabled finance.
