Pres. Trump is acknowledging that he is talking about economic sanctions on Russia if there is no cease-fire.

Since before the meeting with Putin in Alaska, Trump has been quieter about putting the squeeze on Russian oil which is funding the war.

Recall he used India as an example of what would happen if a country purchasee oil from Russia. He raised their tariffs to 50% from 25% as a deterrent. It also was a threat to Russia that if they do sell oil to countries, he would make it painful for those countries.

He seems to be restarting the threats after the lull.
