Jefferies raises S&P 500 year-end target to 6,600

And to put things into perspective, Jefferies had only previously raised their year-end target for the S&P 500 to 5,600 before this back at the end of July. So, that’s two big bumps to their forecast in just a month or so. Amid Fed chair Powell’s dovish tilt at the end of last week, it seems like the Fed put is back in business.
