Former Texans Hall Of Famer’s Home Was Burglarized

The Houston Texans are one of the newest teams in the NFL, but they’ve already had some legendary athletes pass through the organization.

They’ve had extreme luck in the wide receiver category, as Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins are viewed as two of the best at the position in the modern era.

Johnson finished his career with over 14,000 receiving yards, putting him 11th on the all-time list.

He’s a valued Texans alum, someone that current players look up to and hope to model their game after.

Johnson recently received some devastating news, as reporter Aaron Wilson highlighted via JPA Football on X.

According to this report, Johnson was robbed in July, with several important items being taken, notably his Hall of Fame ring.

Johnson was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2024, the first player drafted by the Texans to receive this distinction.

This situation is ongoing, but the hope is that the authorities will be able to recover the stolen items, including this ring.

The Texans’ fanbase is rallying around Johnson, wanting justice to be served and for him to get everything back.

He was not only a legendary figure within the organization, but also made a league-wide impact on how the wide receiver position is played.

The seven-time Pro Bowler might be down and out at the moment, but with how strong the community is around him, he’ll be surrounded by the right people to get through this and hopefully come out stronger on the other end.
