The Green Bay Packers have a luxury not all teams have.
They have two potential starting quarterbacks.
Of course, the pecking order is pretty obvious, and it would take a whole lot for Jordan Love to lose his spot.
Even so, Josh Jacobs believes that Malik Willis is talented and good enough to be a starter somewhere else.
Talking to Dominique Yates, the veteran running back gushed about his teammate:
“If you ask me, there’s no way this guy shouldn’t be a 32-team starter somewhere. That’s just my opinion. The way that I see him on a day-to-day basis. his attributes, the way he uses his mind. He’s a really good football player. We’ve got the ultimate confidence in him. I think he’s going to do good. I’m not worried about him,” Jacobs said of Willis.

Willis entered the league with plenty of promise.
He looked like a potential sleeper who could fit the mold as a true dual-threat quarterback.
His speed, arm strength, and athleticism might be among the best in the league.
Unfortunately, he never took that leap, and while his previous offensive system and quarterback competition may not have helped his case, he also left plenty to be desired with the Tennessee Titans.
Still, the Liberty product showed glimpses of solid play in limited snaps with the Packers last season.
He looked like a solid fit for Matt LaFleur’s offense, and he even led the team to a 2-0 record as a starter.
In seven appearances last season, Willis completed 74% of his passes for 550 yards and three touchdowns while adding 20 carries for 138 yards and one score.
Willis is just 26 years old, and he’s entering his fourth season in the league.
We’ve seen multiple quarterbacks need some more time before figuring things out, and sometimes, all they need is a change of scenery and an opportunity.
Whether he’ll get that in Green Bay remains to be seen.
