Maxx Crosby Uses 3 Words To Describe Ashton Jeanty

The Las Vegas Raiders will look very different this season.

They added a proven winner to turn things around in head coach Pete Carroll, and he brought some reinforcements with him.

New offensive coordinator Chip Kelly will have plenty of weapons to work with.

Geno Smith will now hold down the fort at quarterback, while star tight end Brock Bowers looks to build on his impressive rookie season.

In addition, edge rusher Maxx Crosby used big words to talk about rookie running back Ashton Jeanty, via NFL Network.

“He’s a dawg,” Crosby said. “He’s such a humble kid. You look at Brock Bowers, Geno, Ashton, dudes that have had so much success, and you would never know. That’s the type of teammates you want. If your best players are your hardest workers, you’re gonna have a good chance to win.”

Jeanty enters the league after posting some of the most impressive numbers by a running back in college football history, and though he didn’t always compete against the toughest opponents, his production was outstanding.

As for the other additions to the offense, it looks like the Raiders might finally be able to consistently move the chains and put up points for the first time in years.

On defense, Crosby will continue to be one of the most disruptive pass rushers in the game, all while Carroll cleans things up from previous regimes.

It’s been a long time since the Raiders had a plan and a vision.

They are in arguably the most competitive division in football, the AFC West, but they have everything they need to play spoiler and join the playoff race.
