The days after the ECB decisions, we generally get lots of comments from the ECB members as they get out of the blackout period. There’s generally nothing new in their remarks and it’s no different this time.

Simkus here just reaffirms that the central bank is now comfortable in the current stance and they will need strong reasons to deliver another rate cut. The market is putting another rate cut in a 50/50 chance.
