Republicans on the House financial services committee are slated to meet with Fed chair Powell at 6 PM

UPDATE: Whoops.. now it is said to be cancelled.

Needless to say, the situation is fluid and confusing. However, it seems for now Powell is safe. Pres. Trump may have been advised that he needs cause, and the “cause” is just not there.
