The Dallas Cowboys haven’t been a legitimate Super Bowl contender for decades now.

That may have had plenty to do with their quarterback situation and how they’ve struggled to sign big-name players during the recent days of the Jerry Jones era.

Nevertheless, they’ve fared quite well in the NFL Draft.

As pointed out by Danny Phantom 24 (via Dov Kleiman) on X, they’ve drafted 10 All-Pro players in the first round of the NFL Draft in the last 15 years.

That equals a 67% All-Pro hit rate, and they lead the league by a significant margin in that regard.

One can say a lot of things about the Cowboys over the past two decades or so, but business-wise, they continue to thrive.

Their value continues to skyrocket year in and year out, and while that has been the case with every single NFL team, even the least competitive ones, the Cowboys’ owner also deserves some credit for that.

Of course, there are still plenty of areas for improvement in Arlington.

Players usually complain about the way they were treated once they leave, and their lack of playoff success and questionable quarterback and head coaching situation have been major headaches for the fans for years now.

They don’t have a lot of money to spend on big-name free agents as well.

At least, the fans can rest assured that they will identify elite talents in the first round of the NFL Draft, even if that doesn’t necessarily translate to success in the postseason.
