A pair of former Wimbledon champions are back in the news during grass court season, but not for their tennis.
Ash Barty and Angelique Kerber both announced birth of their second child this week on social media.
2021 Wimbledon winner Barty and her husband Garry Kissick welcomed Jordan into the world. Bary’s first child, son Hayden, was born in July of 2023.
“You are loved unconditionally and we are so grateful to have you in our arms, gorgeous girl,” the couple posted on Instagram.
2018 Wimbledon champion Kerber added baby boy Ben to the world. The German’s baby girl Liana was born in February of 2023.
“Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude now that you’re finally in our arms. You are already so deeply loved, and we can’t wait to watch you grow and discover this beautiful world with us,” Kerber posted on Instagram.
