A New York Times report highlights a proposal by the Trump admin that would allow Iran to continue
enriching uranium at low levels while a broader arrangement is worked
out that would block the country’s path to a nuclear weapon.
The proposal says the US would ‘facilitate’ the building of nuclear power reactors for Iran.
The deal was handed to Iran on the weekend and the White House expects a response in a few days.
I’d take this as a negative for oil, but a positive for world peace. US stocks have given some back but not on this deal.
