Against all odds, the Cincinnati Bengals will have their best defensive player there for offseason activities.
Despite their ongoing contract dispute, Trey Hendrickson won’t hold out, at least for the time being.
As shown by Paul Dehner Jr. on X, the superstar defensive end showed up at the team’s facility.

Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean things are good between him and the team, not by a long shot.
Hendrickson released a statement to single out the team for not contacting him regarding his contract extension.
He stated that they haven’t reached out to his camp since the NFL Draft.
He also claimed that their previous offers were inadequate or did not reflect what was promised to him or his level of production.
Hendrickson doubled down on Tuesday by claiming that the Bengals would’ve probably asked him to take a pay cut if he hadn’t put up big numbers last season.
Perhaps he’s trying to keep his enemies closer, and he believes he can be more disruptive by showing up and making things uncomfortable as opposed to not being there.
He’s one of the best EDGE defenders in the game, and multiple teams could and should be keeping tabs on this situation to potentially trade for him.
The Bengals’ asking price was reportedly quite steep because they never intended to trade him.
However, they’ve backed themselves into this corner, and that might not be their decision to make anymore if Hendrickson decides to go all the way and make things uncomfortable in the locker room.
