Like him or not, Tom Brady is one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
His record of winning seven Super Bowls is a mark that no other QB has achieved, and many believe it’s a record that will never be touched.
He was able to bring a level of professionalism and greatness to his teams every year, whether it was with the New England Patriots or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Brady didn’t speak at length about his tenure while he was in the league, mainly due to competitive reasons, but he has been a lot more open since retiring.
He recently appeared on the “Impaulsive” podcast, where he talked about his career and what it meant to play for so many years.
“I didn’t wanna let those guys down… When you know they’re putting a lot on the line. Their body, their family, their time. You don’t wanna let them down,” Brady said.
Tom Brady credits a lot of his career longevity to not wanting to let down his teammates.

Brady was a loyal teammate, and as he mentioned during this podcast, he wanted to make sure everyone around him was taken care of.
Having a Super Bowl ring is something that players hope for and dream of since they start playing football, and Brady helped make that dream a reality for hundreds of athletes and coaches throughout his career.
Winning these seven rings is an impressive feat, surely, but Brady seemingly wants fans to recognize that he didn’t do it by himself, that he had a lot of teammates along the way who helped him get to the mountaintop.
Fans have enjoyed hearing Brady speak about his time in the league, whether it be via podcasts or the broadcasting booth, wanting to hear more and more stories about his rise to stardom and NFL success.
