Saquon Barkley is coming off one of the greatest seasons in NFL history.
After a career with the New York Giants, he signed a very lucrative deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, and it paid off right away.
Barkley ran away with Offensive Player of the Year honors, had an MVP-caliber campaign, and helped the team win the Super Bowl.
However, he’s now facing some serious backlash.
Barkley golfed with President Donald Trump, and it didn’t take long before fans took to social media to call him out for that.
That’s why he took to X to rip the critics.
“lol some people are really upset cause I played golfed and flew to the White House with the PRESIDENT. Maybe I just respect the office, not a hard concept to understand. Just golfed with Obama not too long ago…and look forward to finishing my round with Trump ! Now ya get out my mentions with all this politics and have amazing day,” he wrote.

Barkley just became the ninth player in NFL history to top the 2,000-yard plateau (2,005) in a single season, and he fell just 101 yards shy of breaking Eric Dickerson’s all-time record.
He finished the year with 2,283 scrimmage yards, and he accounted for more than a third of his team’s scrimmage yards in the season.
