The Denver Broncos are coming off a very promising season.
Head coach Sean Payton didn’t need much time to turn the franchise around, leading them to the playoffs in the first year of the Bo Nix era.
However, given the massive cap hit from Russell Wilson’s contract, money was a little tight at Mile High.
That’s why they might be considering taking quantity over quality in the 2025 NFL Draft.
According to a report by ESPN insider Adam Schefter, the Broncos have fielded calls in recent days from teams looking to get their hands on their No. 20 pick.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be on the clock at No. 21, and, since they don’t have a starting-caliber quarterback on their roster right now and there’s plenty of uncertainty regarding whether Aaron Rodgers will sign with them or retire, they can lean towards taking a quarterback.
That makes the Broncos’ selection a crucial one.
Teams like the Cleveland Browns, who will also most likely be in the mix to get a quarterback, might be tempted to one-up the Steelers to make sure to get their guy.
Jaxson Dart and Jalen Milroe have been polarizing prospects, and while some have them going in the second round, others believe that their positional value could make them late first-round selections.
The Broncos have several areas of need, but they might be better off adding more talent on cost-efficient deals, and they might be able to land a very valuable return for their first-round selection on Thursday night.
