The New York Giants have big decisions to make ahead of them.
Everything they do – or don’t – could lead to GM Joe Schoen and/or HC Brian Daboll losing their jobs.
They will have the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and, with it, an opportunity to get a franchise-changing player.
However, they also have plenty of issues to address all over the roster.
With that in mind, analyst Doug Rush predicted that they could target another running back in rounds four or five.
I could see the Giants going either Round 4 or 5 for a RB.
They’ve done so twice already in Round 5 for RB’s in consecutive drafts:
Eric Gray in 2023 and Tyrone Tracy in 2024.
I don’t think they see Gray or Devin Singletary as part of the future plans (who knows with Turbo… https://t.co/omo05U09UN

He argued that they’ve already done so in back-to-back seasons, and he doesn’t seem to believe that they’re entirely sold on their current running backs room.
Tyrone Tracy Jr. is clearly no Saquon Barkley, but he did a solid job as a rookie.
Nevertheless, this draft class is very deep at running back, so it’s not far-fetched to think that the Giants will give someone else a chance to prove his worth.
The Giants are reportedly leaning towards taking Penn State pass-rusher Abdul Carter if he’s available by the time they’re on the clock in the first round.
If not, they could lean towards Travis Hunter or perhaps even circle back on Shedeur Sanders, who was one of their alleged targets in the earlier stages of the pre-draft process.
This team will have its work cut out for them to improve from a very disappointing season in 2024, and they will have to leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of a potential job-saving playoff berth next season.
