Travis Hunter Sends Clear Message About His Ability In The NFL

Travis Hunter is one of the most intriguing prospects the NFL Draft has seen in years, given how unique his skill set is and how remarkable his stamina was in college as a two-way player.

Fans haven’t seen someone like him before, and it makes his success difficult to project, but Hunter recently sent a clear message about his ability and how it will translate to the pros.

Hunter said he has no doubt he could play every snap on both sides of the ball in the NFL, just like he did in college.

“All of them, if they give me the chance and the opportunity to do it,” Hunter said, via SiriusXM NFL Radio.

Hunter was asked how he is able to divide his time with both positions when it comes to off-field work, such as meetings with defensive backs and wide receivers, and he said he sleeps for about eight hours a day and dedicates the other 16 to preparing, so it is a non-issue for him.

Many have projected him to be a cornerback in the NFL, but to justify being taken with one of the top four picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, he likely has to play both sides, at least to some extent.

Part of his value is in his two-way ability, and whoever drafts him is going to have to get creative and push the limits, because it’s possible Hunter really is that rare player who is capable of logging high snap counts on offense and defense.

Fans everywhere hope that whichever team drafts him is ready to let him be the transcendent star he is capable of being.
