Confirmed team news and starting XIs for crunch game at both ends of the table

Arsenal can restore their five-point lead at the top of the Premier League this afternoon when they visit struggling West Ham.

The Gunners would have been watching on as Manchester City closed the gap last night with a 3-0 win over Brentford but they get the chance to respond at the London Stadium.

It won’t be easy against a West Ham side fighting for their lives at the other end of the table.

The Hammers’ recent resurgence came to a shuddering halt at Brentford last weekend and they start the day in the final relegation spot, a point behind Tottenham.

West Ham United Football Club footballer Taty Castellanos celebrates scoring their side's third goal of the game during a Premier League match at London Stadium, wearing a purple top with claret trim, opening his mouth and spreading his arms on a pitch with fans blurrily visible in the background

West Ham Team News

West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo made two changes to the team beaten at the Gtech and also appears to have changed to a five-man defence.

Jean-Clair Todibo comes in for Pablo while Aaron Wan-Bissaka replaces Kyle Walker-Peters at right wing-back.

West Ham: Hermansen; Disasi, Todibo, Mavropanos, Wan-Bissaka, Diouf; Soucek, Fernandes, Bowen, Summerville, Castellanos

Arsenal Team News

Mikel Arteta named the same team that beat Atletico Madrid to secure a place in the final of the Champions League in midweek. That means Myles Lewis-Skelly continues in midfield.

Jurrien Timber (ankle) and Mikel Merino (foot) are sidelined for Arsenal.

Arsenal: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Lewis-Skelly, Rice, Eze, Saka, Trossard; Gyokeres
