A four-game winless run has left Alvaro Arbeloa’s side nine points behind Barcelona and out of the Champions League at the hands of Bayern Munich.

Speculation suggests Arbeloa won’t be in charge next season but the former Blancos player will be eager to go out on a high.

Alaves also have plenty to play for. They start outside the relegation zone by a point, having drawn three times during their current four-match unbeaten run.
