We’ve been waiting for a decision ‘next week’ for several weeks now but Trump is kicking back the goalposts further:
“We’re going to be announcing next week … we’re going to be announcing the head of the Fed, who that will be, and it’ll be a person that will, I think, do a good job.”
The betting favorite right now is Rick Rieder with Kevin Warsh in second place. No one knows who Trump will pick but it’s time to get on with it.
