Liam Rosenior has rubbished suggestions Cole Palmer wants out of Chelsea and is missing Manchester.

Palmer moved to the West London club in 2023 after becoming frustrated with a lack of opportunity at Manchester City and has been linked with an improbably move back to the North West with Manchester United.

Rosenior said: “I spoke with Cole and he seems and is very happy to be here. For sure Palmer is a huge part of our plans in the long-term. He’s feeling in a good place and joined training today.”

The England international has had a stop-start season due to injury and isn’t fit enough to be considered for Sunday’s trip to Crystal Palace, a match Chelsea need to win to stand any chance of moving back into the top four in the Premier League.
