Team news as Rice returns for Gunners

Arsenal welcome Declan Rice back into the midfield as they visit Bournemouth in the Premier League. The full team news is here.

Arsenal will look to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table to six points when they take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

The Gunners saw their advantage at the top of the table reduced back to three points with Aston Villa’s 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest earlier on Saturday.

But Arsenal will be expected to restore a more sizeable advantage when they face a Cherries team in dismal form.

Bournemouth are winless in their last 10 Premier League games and are expected to lose star man Antoine Semenyo to Manchester City during the January transfer window.

101GreatGoals has the full team news as they look to end that run and spring a surprise.

Bournemouth team news

Bournemouth are unchanged from the side that drew 2-2 with Chelsea last time out.

It means another start for Semenyo, with his apparently imminent move to City still to be finalised.

Substitutes: Forster, Cook, Soler, Smith, Diakite, Adli, Kroupi, Unal, Rees-Dottin.

Arsenal team news

Declan Rice returns from a knee injury that saw him miss Arsenal’s midweek win over Villa.

He comes in for Mikel Merino as part of three changes by Mikel Arteta.

Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli replace Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard on the flanks, with Viktor Gyokeres continuing to lead the line despite his disappointing form in front of goal.

Arsenal:  Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie, Zubimendi, Rice, Odegaard, Madueke, Martinelli, Gyokeres.

Substitutes: Arrizabalaga, White, Lewis-Skelly, Norgaard, Merino, Eze, Saka, Trossard, Jesus.
