Report, result, goals in Premier League

Soungoutou Magassa struck his first West Ham goal with seven minutes remaining to deny Manchester United fifth place in the Premier League and move the Hammers closer to safety with a point at Old Trafford.

Diogo Dalot’s deftly-taken first league goal since May 2024 broke the deadlock in the 58th minute, collecting a shot from Casemiro with a composed touch and finish inside the box.

United, who struck a post through Bruno Fernandes during the first half, rose to eighth, while their opponents are a point behind fourth-bottom Leeds United, who beat Chelsea 3-1 at home on Wednesday.

United are next in action away to Wolves on Monday (20:00 GMT), a day after West Ham visit Brighton & Hove Albion (14:00).
