The Green Bay Packers finally bounced back. It wasn’t easy, and it definitely wasn’t pretty, but they got a win on the road.

Notably, they needed Jordan Love to lead the way against the New York Giants, especially down the stretch, and their quarterback delivered. He earned an impressive grade for his Week 11 performance from Brent Sobleski of Bleacher Report.

“Jordan Love’s toughness cannot be questioned. Love left Sunday’s contest with the Giants with a left shoulder injury. He returned seven plays later and eventually led the Green Bay Packers on a game-winning, fourth-quarter drive. The Packers quarterback also overcame the loss of his starting running back, Josh Jacobs, to injury, and multiple drops by his receivers. With just over four minutes to play, Love connected with wide receiver Christian Watson between two defenders for the game’s final score,” Sobleski wrote.

Love is as tough as they come. He’s going to push and try to play through injury, especially when his team needs some momentum.

The Packers were undermanned against the Giants. Pass catchers Jayden Reed and Tucker Kraft were out, and Jacobs had to leave the game in the first half. That put even more pressure on Love’s shoulders, especially after his receivers dropped multiple passes. Yet he was unfazed by the moment, and he rose to the occasion.

It looks like the Packers will have to rely even more on their quarterback going forward. The running game has struggled all season, and with Jacobs potentially out for at least Week 12 against the Minnesota Vikings, they will have to put the ball in Love’s hands and trust him to make the plays he’s capable of making.

There will be some erratic throws here and there, but with the way the offense looks right now, the Packers are likely better off putting the ball in the air.
