The Philadelphia Eagles just won their third game in a row. They traveled to Lambeau Field for a tough matchup with the Green Bay Packers, and even though it wasn’t easy or pretty at all, they still pulled it off.

They’re now tied for the best record in the conference at 7-2. However, as good as their record is, NFL analyst Chris Brockman hasn’t been impressed by the product. Talking on ESPN, Brockman predicted that the Eagles would probably go one-and-done in the playoffs:

“Eagles did not impress me at all. They have not impressed me much this season, and they are winning one playoff game max this year. I understand why A.J. Brown is pissed all the time. Can that man get a target that’s not fourth down and a 30-yard bomb when you should be running the football? I told you that [Saquon Barkley] was going to be half of what he was last year. He has not looked great at all. Hurts is kinda mid,” Brockman said.

Truth be told, it’s hard to disagree with that statement. The Eagles might be winning right now, but things are going to be different in the postseason.

New offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo has taken all the trickery out of this offense. There’s no motion, no deception, and they’re literally giving up the play as soon as they line up at the line of scrimmage.

The Eagles have three Ferraris in Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, and DeVonta Smith, but they’re posting duds left and right this season. And while some of that might be due to Jalen Hurts’ glaring limitations, the play-calling and play design have just left a lot to be desired.

The Eagles have the resources and talent to turn things around and be as good as they were with Kellen Moore at the helm. Even so, they’re not likely to change anything while they continue to win some games. That’s something that could come back to haunt them when it matters most.
