OpenAI is that it is launching a web browser built around ChatGPT called ChatGPT Atlas.

Shares of Alphabet are lower on the news with the price down -1.67% at $252.28 that is still well above the low price for the day $244.15.

Alphabet traded to a new all-time high yesterday at $257.33, closing at a new record as well at $256.55. The decline today took the price below the 100 and 200 hour moving averages (blue and green lines) at $247, but the price is back above those moving average levels keeping the buyers in control technically.

A move below, however would tilt the bias back to the downside at least in the short term. Shares of Alphabet are up 32.79% in 2025.
