The Green Bay Packers had a bye in Week 5, which will hopefully lead to better health across the board for the roster, especially for their banged-up offensive line.
Plus, coming off a frustrating loss to the Cleveland Browns and a confusing tie against the Dallas Cowboys, it seemed like the Packers could use a break to get right and regain their focus.
Thankfully, they’ll have a relatively easy matchup in Week 6, at least on paper, as they’re taking on the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bengals have gotten steamrolled since Joe Burrow went down with an injury, leading sportsbooks to make the Packers a 14.5-point favorite, as reporter Matt Schneidman noted on X.

This might seem like a lot of points, especially given Green Bay’s past two performances, but it’s more indicative of where the Bengals are.
They lost by 38 points to the Minnesota Vikings, 25 points to the Denver Broncos, and 13 points to the Detroit Lions, all in the past three weeks.
Jake Browning hasn’t been the solid backup to Burrow that the team had hoped he’d be, often leading to interceptions and poor decision-making.
The Packers’ defense should have a field day against him in Week 6, giving them confidence that they can beat up on weaker teams moving forward.
A dominant win in this one will tell the rest of the league that weeks three and four were a fluke, and that this team can still be a Super Bowl contender, like many analysts have predicted.
