Analyst Reveals Big Expectations For Packers In Week 4 Matchup

The Green Bay Packers were minutes away from being 3-0.

They had looked like either the best or one of the best teams in the league in the first two games, but the Cleveland Browns’ Super Bowl-caliber defense contained them in Week 3.

That’s why facing a subpar defense like the Dallas Cowboys’ is just what the doctor ordered for them.

With that in mind, NFL analyst John Middlekauff painted a grim picture for this game.

Talking on his “3 & Out” podcast, Middlekauff predicted the Packers wouldn’t find much trouble getting past Brian Schottenheimer’s team:

“I think I would be stunned if the Packers don’t win this game by double digits. I think the thing would be how potent is the Packers’ offense, but I just think it’s an easy one for LaFleur to get after them this week. With CeeDee gone, you felt it immediately when he rolled his ankle, you’re like, ‘Their offense goes from pretty good to not quite the same,’” Middlekauff said.

The Cowboys will be without their best player.

CeeDee Lamb is out with an ankle injury.

Also, guard Trevor Booker, who has been instrumental to Javonte Williams’ early-season success in the running game, will also be out.

That spells disaster for a Cowboys team that has rarely found success when they’ve trusted Dak Prescott to be the one to lead the way.

On a positive note, they will get star cornerback DaRon Bland back on the field, and veteran defensive end Jadeveon Clowney will also make his season debut after joining the team a couple of weeks ago.

Still, with Micah Parsons looking to send a message and wreak havoc off the line of scrimmage and a Packers offense that desperately needs to bounce back after a dismal outing, things don’t look good for the home team.

The Packers are 6-0 all-time at AT&T Stadium, including a win in the Super Bowl, and they have a big opportunity to add another win to their tally on Sunday.
