Executives News Gerald Segal October 9, 2023 FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that financial services collaboration platform provider Symphony has hired Bryan Christian, as the company’s new Head of Business Development. Based in New York, Bryan Christian spent the past year as Director of US Sales for LMAX, a London based institutional FX and crypto broker. Prior to LMAX, Bryan was Head of Exchange at institutional crypto startup CrossTower. He had also previously managed global sales teams at Cboe, NASDAQ and Bloomberg. Symphony was founded in 2014 as a messaging platform to solve data security and compliance, be an open architecture platform, and facilitate real-time cross-company communication in the financial services sector. Today, Symphony is the common connector for market workflows. Symphony’s user base is the largest in financial services. The company counts over half a million users, servicing more 1,000 institutions. Gerald Segal Gerald is the founder of FNG and is one of the most experienced writers covering the online trading sector. Prior to starting FNG, Gerald founded Forex industry B2B news website LeapRate.com in 2010, selling it in 2018 to publicly traded Catena Media plc (STO:CTM). An avid skier, cyclist and ice hockey player, Gerald was previously an investment banker for more than a decade at Bear Stearns, Robertson Stephens, and Merrill Lynch. Gerald holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York and a BCOM degree from the University of Toronto.
