A uncommon, endangered child dolphin has been noticed swimming with members of a distinct species in Cambodia, leaving scientists puzzled.

The Irrawaddy dolphin (Orcaella brevirostris) calf was possible with its mom in a gaggle of Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins (Sousa chinensis). Irrawaddy dolphins are darkish grey with squished faces, whereas Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins are pink with lengthy noses, so the calf and mom caught out like noticed thumbs.
