Southeast Asia’s foremost sustainable tourism event PHIST (Phuket Hotels for Islands Sustaining Tourism), set for its return this September with an outstanding lineup of key figures and industry pioneers headed up by Peng Sum Choe, CEO of Pan Pacific Hotels Group.

Peng Sum Choe of Pan Pacific Hotels Group will lead this year’s event and discuss green leadership alongside Jesper Palmqvist of hospitality analysts STR. Both executives have striven towards embedding sustainability into every aspect of operations in Singapore; thus becoming Global Sustainable Tourism Council Multi-Site certified for eight properties within their group.

On 2 September 2024 at Angsana Laguna Phuket in Phuket, PHIST is more than just another conference; it will offer attendees an immersive learning event filled with candid debates, 18 workshops, career development sessions, networking events and networking opportunities designed to challenge conventional thinking while inspiring real solutions to pressing environmental and community-focused challenges. Last year’s conference attracted over 1000 delegates.
