Oceania Cruises, one of the leading global culinary- and destination-focused cruise lines, recently marked an important milestone in its Allura’s construction at Fincantieri shipyard near Genoa – Italy’s famed seaport. After being floated out from dry-dock and moved onto fitting out berth for outfitting designer interiors – Allura made her first voyage as part of her maiden voyage on June 15, 2014.
Allura was blessed by Father Stefano, Fincantieri’s shipyard chaplain in an intimate ceremony that paid respects to General Claudio Graziano (Chairman of Fincantieri). Allura’s Madrina Caterina Romeo of Fincantieri Technical Department traditionally named and blessed the vessel while bestowing blessings upon all who embark on her.

Allura is moving swiftly towards its launch and now in the final stages of construction focusing on her luxurious suites, sophisticated lounges and exceptional restaurants that embody Oceania Cruises’ commitment to culinary excellence and destination immersion. Allura promises to become an elegant masterpiece featuring innovative offerings while raising standards across the cruise industry.
Allura will formally enter service from Trieste, Italy, on 18 July 2025 and sail six days to Athens via Rijeka Croatia; Ravenna Italy; Dubrovnik Croatia and Kotor Montenegro in Eastern Mediterranean ports such as Rijeka Croatia; Ravenna Italy; Dubrovnik Croatia and Kotor Montenegro before her summer season ends and heads toward Canada/New England before embarking upon her winter season in Miami homeporting it for further voyages as an inaugural collection. As part of her inaugural voyages Allura will also embarking from New York City starting September 2025 roundtrip as part of an exclusive voyage roundtrip roundtrip sailing roundtrip sailing roundtrip around New York City until September 2025 to make its grand entrance as she/her inaugural Collection!
Allura, Oceania Cruises’ eighth vessel and second 1,200-guest Allura Class vessel, launched to great acclaim on May 20,2023 as her sister ship Vista did before her. Allura features include:

Luxurious new library featuring wall-to-ceiling glass walls, comfortable chairs and plush residential furnishings located just steps away from LYNC Digital Center (ship’s digital and social hub), as well as Horizons is now open!
One chef for every 10 guests and 50% of crew members dedicated exclusively to culinary experiences are provided free-of-charge on board the ship. There are five specialty dining venues, such as Ember and Aquamar Kitchen signature restaurants. 1200 passengers were serviced by 800 crew members; two crew members serving every three passengers on board.
Standard staterooms at 291 square feet offer one of the largest space offerings at sea. Each sailing offers hundreds of unforgettable shore excursions and tours for you to take part in.
Oceania Cruises provides onboard enrichment through art classes at their much-beloved Artist Loft, guest speakers and Sommelier’s Choice and Cellar Master’s Classic Wine Pairing Luncheons with expert sommelier demonstrations.
