Kings to Keep an Eye Out For at Rookie Faceoff

At first sight it may look as if nothing has changed but as soon as a conversation about an object arises then that object changes dramatically, becoming larger, heavier and stronger as time progresses – leaving those left standing behind feeling helpless to cope and needing someone or something else for assistance. Rookie Faceoff 2017 is fast approaching and rosters of participating teams have been revealed. While the Kings do not boast as impressive of roster as in prior years, there still may be some noteworthy players worth keeping an eye out for such as Brandt Clarke & Erik Portillo who I suspect the Kings wanted on hand given they are host team this time around – though with him playing D+4 I doubt we will learn much of anything about him during Rookie Faceoff 2017. At this showcase, Clarke faces many potential prospects such as Angus Booth. Booth was known to play aggressive defense for the QMJHL despite not being one of its bigger stars – we will keep an eye out to see how his game fares against older competition.
