Context
The user who promoted this rumor previously made unsubstantiated claims but failed to offer evidence supporting them, unlike what had previously been posted online by other similar accounts. Further, as reported in Pittsburgh Tribune-Review newspaper, Pennsylvania officials expect record voter turnout and not an absence thereof.
Gunther Eagleman claimed on Nov. 4 2024 – just days prior to Election Day – that sources within US Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign reported she went “crazy and snapped”, possibly due to low voter turnout numbers in Pennsylvania.

Though this fact check was published on Election Day and final voter turnout figures were yet to become available, Pennsylvania news provider TribLIVE reported on Nov. 5: “Western Pennsylvanians cast ballots amid expected record turnout.
Officials anticipate a record turnout today thanks to an optimistic National Weather Service forecast of sunny skies with highs expected between 80s.

No reputable news outlets reported Harris lash-out at an apparent low voter turnout in Pennsylvania.
@GuntherEagleman did not provide evidence to back their claims about Harris’ demeanor and with this reporter being blocked, we deemed their account as unsubstantiated; thus we have classified this claim as such — likely stemming from hearsay, speculation or groundless gossip.
Draft community notes not yet visible under @GuntherEagleman’s post revealed the user had previously made similar unproven claims about Harris “crumbling and panicking” while on the campaign trail; such posts also mentioned one or more purported sources that neither he nor anyone else named by this user could name as credible references.

(X) Our research revealed that, on November 4, @GuntherEagleman tweeted and then removed an unverifiable falsehood claiming NBA superstar Michael Jordan supported former President Donald Trump during an election campaign; Snopes then provided facts surrounding this claim as well.!function(f,b,e,v,n,t,s).
