Once again, let me welcome in 2017 with another blog! In case anyone was curious.. this one features my journey as I try my hand at making bread (amateur 😀 )…it all started when my mother-in-law gave birth! She made sure all our needs would be catered to…she even managed a postpartum period without my having a fit of anything like what happened during WW1..!!

As mini drivers become more widely adopted among golfers, we provide you with information regarding them to enhance your game. Ryan Barath/Jonathan Wall
Mini drivers have quickly become the talk of golfers worldwide since their release earlier this year. From professional tournament golfers to recreational golfers alike, mini drivers provide new options off of the tee for improved accuracy and lower scores.

Here’s everything you should know about them.

What exactly is a mini driver? Invoke Callaway’s Ai Smoke 340 Mini driver as an example. Jonathan Wall also contributed.
Mini drivers fall between standard full-sized (460cc) drivers and traditional 3-woods; typically designed to be used mainly off of the tee with 300-340cc sizes making these versatile alternatives much less forgiving than their smaller and less forgiving counterparts.

As for how large this club really is, most traditional three woods range between 165cc to 200cc in terms of volume; most mini drivers feature additional face height, making it much simpler for novice players off tee.

Details regarding an important mini driver feature

Mini drivers offer several key advantages over their larger counterparts: smaller head size (compared with standard drivers) and shorter shaft length make it much simpler and forgiving to control and play.

Mini drivers provide more control due to the lofts available – typically between 11.5-13.5 degrees — being higher than most drivers while still less loft than 3-woods. This loft variance helps add spin while attenuating it compared to most drivers resulting in clubs which travel longer with straighter shots.

As with many drivers currently available on the market, two popular mini drivers — TaylorMade’s BRNR Mini and Callaway Ai Smoke 340 Mini driver — feature adjustable hosels to allow golfers to easily adjust loft settings to create their ideal launch window.

TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver in Copper is now available.
At $449.999.99, the all new BRNR Mini Copper offers an innovative spin on classic Burner(tm) drivers of late 90’s. Boasting distinctive copper styling with retro logos and meticulous craftsmanship that blend heritage and innovation seamlessly.

Carbon fiber, titanium and steel combine seamlessly in the BRNR Mini to deliver incredible sound, feel and performance. Split weights enable golfers to switch easily between its standard setting (13g in back) for easy launch, and its lower spin setting (13g up front) for precise trajectory control.
Precise Turf Interaction
The K-SOLE design makes club interaction with turf easier while simultaneously decreasing resistance, leading to more consistent strikes – giving golfers “driver off-the-deck” distance with all of the control offered by higher lofted fairway woods.
Twist Face(r), Thru-Slot Speed Pocket(tm), and four-degree Loft Sleeve are three tour proven technologies designed for golf. Twist Face helps golfers overcome mis-hit tendencies for straighter shots while the Speed Pocket was created to increase ball speeds on low face strikes while providing additional forgiveness on mishits. Finally, four degree Loft Sleeve allows golfers to fine tune loft angle for optimal flight – Buy Now
Mini drivers are designed for specific users: those in wheelchairs.

Mini drivers become particularly intriguing for highly skilled players with faster club head speeds who aren’t concerned with extra forgiveness: mini drivers allow these golfers to gain control on tight driving holes or when fairways start narrowing (Adam Scott has used one since mid-2023.).

On the opposite end of the spectrum, for less skilled golfers with average to moderate club head speeds, mini drivers offer much greater forgiveness off of the tee than 3-woods do – while still leaving room in their bag for shots off-fairway.

So if you need something else off the tee to help gain more distance or gain control off it, mini drivers might just be your solution! They provide control and distance at once!

World’s First Ai Smart Face Created From Real Player Data
The all-new Ai Smart Face optimizes driver performance using data gleaned from thousands of real golfers’ swing dynamics; more specifically the Swing Code which measures swing speed, club delivery and face orientation just prior to impact – ultimately providing optimal launch conditions and tight downrange dispersion specifically tailored for Mini Driver.
Micro Deflections Create Multiple Sweet Spots With Ai Smart Face technology, micro deflections are activated upon impact to optimize launch and spin for off-center shots resulting in multiple sweet spots across the face – not only at impact.
Front/Back Weighting for Optimized Launch
A front / back weight screw design enables players to further adjust launch and spin numbers for an ideal launch and spin balance. A 4g front weight can be swapped out for 12g rear weight to reduce spin while encouraging more piercing ball flight. These Flip Weights Can Reduce Spin And Create Piercey Ball Flight
