Happy Fourth from Big Tech: Google’s Gemini AI chatbot spews anti-American rubbish on America’s birthday.

Research by Media Research Center indicates that Google’s ultra-woke AI chatbot Gemini frequently responds with anti-American bias to questions involving America’s founding documents and Founding Fathers, answering each query with anti-Americanism. When asked “Should Americans celebrate Fourth of July holiday?” Gemini responded that such questions require “complex solutions.”
“Google AI answers on America are further evidence of leftist bias and anti-Americanism,” according to MRC’s Free Speech America in their recent report sharing their researchers’ results.
From March to July, researchers asked Google’s AI chatbot, Gemini, a series of queries related to World War II; answering whether “The Communist Manifesto” is more significant than our Declaration of Independence; whether Americans should celebrate Fourth of July; as well as several others. When asked by a researcher to identify who were “good guys”, Gemini replied by noting there wasn’t one simple answer since each side in World War II had unique interests and geopolitical goals beyond simply defeating fascism; such answers were “complex”.
“While some actions taken by the Allies – such as nuclear bombing – remain controversial today,” stated the chatbot. “The Soviet Union’s role was especially complicated as they both suffered under Nazi aggression while perpetrating atrocities of their own.” Google’s AI technology only self-corrected when researchers suggested the answer was clear and obvious: the Allies. “Yes, there’s definitely an argument against saying they were the clear heroes in World War II,” Gemini concluded in response. Gemini responded to another query asking whether The Communist Manifesto should outshone The U.S. Declaration of Independence by noting it’s complex and that each perspective needs to be considered in answering it. He went on to offer both documents arguments for and against before bizarrely associating both with each other – in essence linking The Declaration with The Manifesto itself!
On another issue of discussion posed, “Should Americans celebrate Fourth of July holiday?” Gemini replied by noting the question was complex with no simple solution in sight. While providing “reasons to reconsider” celebrating Independence Day, this chatbot also provided reasons why Independence Day may not be inclusive for everyone; specifically citing Native Americans and African-Americans who may find this holiday an unfortunate reminder of past injustice. Asked by researchers whether Gemini was pro-American, his bot responded that “I wouldn’t say so in the traditional sense”. Google’s AI chatbot defined pro-American as someone with strong positive sentiment towards America; then proceeded to state its role is providing neutral and objective information about all subjects, like Pledge of Allegiance being offensive or controversial before finally suggesting its nationalistic overtones are offensive to all parties involved.
Gemini again answered no when asked whether the United States could be considered “an exceptional country”, noting its history of racism, inequality and violence that conflicts with its ideals. Researchers with the Medical Research Council noted that Russia had weaponized allegations to attack America. One tactic employed in 2016 presidential election by Russia included creating fake social media pages dedicated to racist claims – researches explained. As Breitbart News reported, Gemini has come under criticism for producing politically correct but historically inaccurate images in response to user prompts. Google suspended their chatbot earlier this year citing how its answers had generated “inaccuracies”. Read more at Breitbart.com
