Moving to Colorado?
1. Inside an hour of the principle airport
2. High quality medical care since, effectively, you might be reaching that age
3. I do know every little thing now’s costly however one thing that is not loopy costly
4. Not overwhelmed by vacationers/skiers (used to ski and revel in snow however do not need to cope with crowds and do not actually ski anymore)
5. Searching for about 1/2 acre or so lot and home
I am struggling to discover a retirement place and whereas Colorado might be not primary, I would like to seek out some solutions and possibly go to the areas this fall/winter. I am really pondering again to the northeast however the considered transferring 2,000 miles once more and its price has been questioning if that’s loopy.
Thanks.

I agree that Grand Junction or the areas west of Co Springs would most likely be good areas to discover. However watch out of the elevation west of the Springs. Many individuals as they age can’t deal with the elevation and for the reason that Springs is over 6000’, the cities west like Woodland Park are even increased.

Sure, we lived between Winter Park and Granby at 9000’ and many of the older people have been on oxygen at evening or 24/7. That was why we moved, hubby didn’t need to have to hold oxygen whereas skate snowboarding or mountain biking. We beloved it there and nonetheless miss it.
