It’s official, John Kerry will be the next U.S. Secretary of State and will replace Hillary Clinton.

John Kerry has a long track record in the American political scene, and was pegged for the Secretary of State role after Republicans quickly jumped on the presumed top pick for the spot-Susan Rice.

United Nations Ambassador Rice was quickly removed as the favorite contender for the Secretary of State position after the Benghazi, Libya attack that killed four Americans including the top diplomat in the region Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Political analysts at Raw News believe that Republicans hoped former Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry, who got beaten by George W Bush in 2004, would get the job instead of Susan Rice.  This would mean that Republicans would get to contest Kerry’s vacant Senate seat…So perhaps there were ulterior motives behind the smearing of Susan Rice’s reputation despite the fact that she had been using talking points quickly assembled by the Intelligence community.

President Obama’s hesitation in nominating his friend Kerry was that he didn’t want to play the Republican game and lose that Senate seat.

Many believe that Ben Affleck will run for Senate in Massachusetts to fill John Kerry’s vacant seat.

What kind of a Secretary of State will John Kerry Make?  Tell us your thoughts:
